While on the road I purchased a software called "Max for Live". For those reading who don't know what Max for Live is, it is an environment in which to program your own musical instruments, effects, interfaces, etc... how you see fit. ...and is all internal to Ableton Live (the software I currently use for music). Scroll to the end for a video about Max For Live.
Needless to say, since that purchase, I have been nerding out quite a bit. Tonight I made my first ever Max for Live patch. It uses my MacBook's built in "sudden motion sensor" to generate MIDI data, and thus move whatever knob/fader/button I want when I tip my laptop this way or that. I'll post of video of it in action within the next few days.
