Some Polaroids

When I was a lot younger, back when Polaroid still made film, I used to play around with my Polaroid 600 all the time. I'd shoot awful photos of my dogs and plants and stuff all the time (I was a bit of a weirdo), but enough about my past... haha...

While on tour I acquired a few polaroid 600s, an sx70, and an older pack film camera. Polaroid no longer makes film, so most folks think that they are either out of luck, or that they have to drop 100-200 bucks for some old expired film. However, well over a year ago in one of those airplane magazines that talk about business and up and coming things and current mumbo jumbo, I stumbled across this article about a company that was started by some former Polaroid employees after Polaroid had started shutting down film production. They bought out one of the remaining facilities and had to start from scratch in making the "recipe" for Polaroid instant camera film. Thus began The Impossible Project. After I had acquired those cameras I ordered some film from them (a color pack for the sx70 and a b&w pack for one of the 600s). I tried out each of my new cameras, and got one good picture out of each of them. After the first shot they just burned the rest of the film, shooting out one after another. Lammmmme. The sx70 needs repairing, and I'm not gonna bother fixing the 600, because I'm back in VA and have the old one that I grew up with again. But here are the two good photos.

Mind you one bubbled a tad and both changed and shifted from the long hot car ride from TX to VA.
